Creepy hall monitor drivers

I’ve driven in 2 different markets.

I’ve seen and dealer with autistic hall monitor drivers in both.

They have vehicles with multiple trade dress signs, light up signs and the like. They try to bully other riders and poach passengers.

Two local ones here tell drivers they aren’t allowed to park next to them (small downtown area of 6 blocks).

I can’t believe anyone gets in their vehicles. I’d cancel the moment I saw their clown cars.

Rideshare tends to attract the unemployable. I look forward to the day this changes.

People only do what we allow them to do. **********How about that?*********

Since my market does not require them I always roll my eyes when I see drivers driving during the day with light up signs and lots of rideshare stickers all over.

In my head I always mock them, "I just paid $30,000 for my new Uber vehicle. Now I'm getting rich getting $3 rides for $6 an hour! WOOHOO! Uber rocks!! Time to buy another light up sign!"

^ The above is actually how a lot of new drivers are for the first month or two. It's sickening.

He isn't wrong.

Aspergers (to a lesser extent) and Austism present challenges to the person and those around them.

The world isn't a safe space and I will not accept innapropriate behavior to be nice.

As I stated before, the spectrum has become so broad it is less meaningful. Like most things, it has been used by all parties to monetize the disorder. The IDEA act with its IEPs and "least restrictive environment" directive, for example.

The SSI monies that open Medicaid eligibility.

And so on.

im chaming in excuse my spelling and words
well looks like jerks bullying autistic people well let me inform the bullys

i drive and i have aspersgers myself and proud of it so get over bullying people over what the have glad ur pays low maybe uber knows ur a bully loser

sicko
Pointing out a behaviour is not bullying.

Wow , talk about discrimination. If anyone is a bully it is you. I can see your remarks are obviously deriving from fear because a person with Asperger's can easily out preform you Everytime. The abilities are remarkable to hyper focus on the task at hand. No need to look any further than your own mirror it's obvious you have a very passive aggressive personality disorder along with being an egomaniac.

certain disorders get a pass and others do not?

I get they the Asp/Autism lobby is strong. But that doesn't mean anti-social behaviors should be accepted because they fit in that group.

Your assessment is also odd. I am not being passive aggressive, I am being direct. Nothing I've posted indicates "ego mania", although I am unsure what your definition is.

Oh well why stop there, maybe ride share drivers should be required to take a speaking English test and proper enunciation. That would most likely eliminate half of them
That would be a valid requirement.

The clown world we live in where everyone has to accommodate others deficiencies wholesale is a farce.

Merit should be the primary factor in the public sphere.

Everyone needs to lay off of OP. Aspy and autistic people are notorious for poor social skills, which should eliminate them from rideshare driving.
I don't mind the discussion. People should feel free to say what they want.

There is no requirement to be social with other drivers, and if they treat their passengers fine then it is not of any drivers concerns.

Oh let's also not forget age discrimination, after all older people can be cranky, and have slowed reflexes, oh and of course younger people don't have enough experience so they should be eliminated as well

Self-segregation is a thing. Only white people get called racist for it.

Foucault would be proud. Discourse is good.
