Why Uber Gets Away With It

America’s version of Stockholm Syndrome and why we do such a bad job of protecting our interests. Stop envying your masters:

“Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”
-Ronald Wright

We cannot ever expect to be fairly compensated for our efforts as long as we perceive ourselves in this light.

Knowledge is power.

Didn't read the article, just the quote, but I agree completely.

The people from parts of the country, like Alabama, Mississippi, Iowa, and such who are working poor but vote RepubliCON and constantly vote against their interests as far as economically, don't see themselves as poor, when in fact, they are.

Note everyone votes with their wallet, some vote with their hearts

Far left propoganda on UP LA? I remember this place being in love with #45. Nice work @Carbuncle. Seems to be working.

Facts are funny that way.

When you stop huffing the flatulence of Rand’s and Rothbard’s bastard love child perhaps your brain fog will clear enough to see that.

But I’m not inclined to wait for that ship to sail.

That’s the problem.

Everyone is supposed to be voting with their brains. You know, by using them.
