It was free for a long time before those fees kicked in
That's funny. I think that was their standard mo. Go into new area, give drivers phones for free. Get the region up and running, then start charging $10 a week. I remember being really pissed because they didn't have an android app and I didn't want to pay for their crippled phone.

Been driving since 2017 and we still get TO'd if we cut too many pings off.

The algo here gets pissed usually if you do 3 in a row.......heh.
