Where is it safe to sleep in my car?

In 2005, I received a large royalty check. I spent it on a new Lincoln Navigator XL. As an XL vehicle I get a better rate and many times the large groups tip well.

The car is comfortable to sleep in. I simply fold down the third row seats and take a nap. Where in L.A. is it safe for a person to sleep in his car?

Thanks

Grocery store parking lot. A block away from a police station. Library parking lot.

I got a few hours sleep once in OC at a strip mall parking lot that wasn't far from the Amazon warehouse in Irvine. Had a morning shift for Flex and wasn't gonna drive home just to turn around and go back to the OC.

https://www.lacity.org/for-resident...strategy-implementation/los-angeles-municipal

this is a link for vehicle dwelling, from an official government website for la

at the bottom has all the maps for the 21 lapd police stations and they are color coded to tell you where and when you can live in your car

if you are not familiar with any of the police stations and can't figure out how the maps work you can type in a physical address using:

http://zimas.lacity.org/

for the zimas website click on the far left icon that shows CHANGE BACKGROUND DISPLAY LAYER then go to the bottom lower left corner and click MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 85.02 (VEHICLE DWELLING)

the only way to make money in los angeles at this point driving full time on uber x without having any other income is to live in your car

a lot of people might say walmart parking lots but it's very very different for southern california walmarts, the parking lots can get bad from too many people doing it so they gotta kick everyone out, it goes in cycles.
