New driver looking for answers just curious what to recive ..was thinking of working 7am to 7 pm is this good time frame?
You need a City of Dallas permit to drive in Dallas & pick up at Love field. Also, you need a DFW airport permit to pick up there. Welcome!

Still any advice if they just say speed speed ill give you bad review or take the wheel .i would firmly tell them stop or im leeting out there an calling anoth driver that fits them ..im worried that company would not agree with this an im in truble thry didnt answer that question clearly .if i drive 6 days a week an availibe all day till 7 how much avrige id be pulling in if i worked in McKinney zone or frisco zone? Is enuf to cover a lease car or is a scam just to sell cars an then u can't pay for it .?i hope its at least 100$ a week.that would help a great deal

You will learn as you go... Hard to bring up all the tough situations you gonna face. The $6 ride they brought up will be close to $3 after uber fees.
Well, you are only hoping to get at least $100 per day which average out to at least $600 a week after car payment and commission . And this could be the reason why they couldn't answer your question. McKinney area is a little slow, so good luck with your new gig cause even if we tell you otherwise, u still have to try it out for yourself :smiles:

Leasing or renting a car thru Uber runs from $160.00 per week & up depending on car. It is a rip off. The slowest times for uber pick up are 11:00am til 3:00pm. The early morning 4:00 am til 9:00am are good in your area for trips to airports. You can drop off at airports without permits, but can not pickup. Gas is not your only expense of driving, depreciation of your car is an expense as well.

In that case, yeah you can make $25 a day, although I would suggest working at your local subway for 3 hours a day will be less stressful and gives u the freedom of time and a guaranty :smiles: well, welcome to the club, and check back often here as you will learn a lot from these bad ass pros here in Dallas

There is no "rule". You'll find the majority of passengers will automatically choose to ride in the back seat, however, some may wish to ride up front. Remember that an UberX trip can include parties of up to 4, in which case every seat will be used.

If you are not comfortable with a single passenger riding up front with you, you can request that they ride in the back. Some may take offense to that and rate you lower.

As for me, I prefer a solo rider to sit in the front seat. I'd rather have them in my field of vision as opposed to sitting behind me. It's also easier to have a conversation.

At least 95% of my passengers sit in the middle row of my minivan. I know it's not the same comparison as a sedan. I don't care where most people sit but I am cautious when females sit in the front late at night. It's only happened maybe 2 or 3 times in 450 rides.

When you have all your seats taken, it's not so bad because there's other passengers in the back. In the beginning it might be strange, but over time, you get the hang of it and where they sit is no big deal. (For me I can open the auto-sliding doors for the middle row and that's where they usually sit).
