No it's an app that gives you reserve data it shows as a floating number in the upper right corner usually with LTE or something written with numbers

Ahhh ya thats called mystery magical data and doesnt exist. How would that reserve data work? It would have to literally contain every bit of info available on the internet stored on your phone, because if your not connected, well your not connected and theres no magic cloud of info hovering in the... oh crap im trying to explain this to someone who thinks theres a reserve data tank DOH!

If your talking about 3G that is still a connection its just slower and its not an app its part of your carriers network.

No, there is an app. When you get into a dead zone a 450' cell phone tower pops out of the head phone jack input and you get reception in areas you normally wouldn't...

It doesn't work u ground thought and your fellow subway riders will get pissed off if you extend the tower in a subway car. Be careful
