Scenario 1:
Ratings going back up.
If ratings were to ever rise again it can cause riders to find alternative transportation and the over saturated uber will have more drivers on the road then riders. Less passenger = less revenue = drivers leaving = no more uber. If uber had kept the rates where they were they wouldn't have this doomsday scenario to worry about. Riders generally enjoyed uber in the very beginning and uber was still growing. Now they're growing but bringing in no real revenue (profits) Fact!

Scenario 2:
Driver quality.
Once upon a time when rates were decent drivers were giving out waters, good service, snacks, donuts, mints, etc etc. Cars were cleaned inside and out now you get into an uber the driver hates uber don't care about the stupid rating system and amenities are relics in his pantry in the house. Lack of driver quality will eventually make riders feel as if uber is like a mobile fast food chain that you like. The food is great! but you hate the service and sometimes the thought of dealing with the cashiers and staff at fast food restaurants tend to make you avoid it all together.

Scenario 3:
Uber will destroy itself with its uncaring dogmatic views on the transportation industry it knows nothing about.
Uber is its own worse enemy. The treatment of their drivers/partners will ultimately seal ubers fate.

Scenario 4:
Eventually when the regulations catch up to uber it may be all over for them. A lot of cities are going to regulate uber out of existence like they did in France.

I could be wrong and uber will thrive but from what I'm seeing its only a matter of time when all the crap that uber is doing ( the total disregard for regulations, driver mistreatment, mis mangement, bad publicity with its drivers, driver quality, class action lawsuits, all these bad car leases and its over saturating of markets) will explode in their face.
