Unless some common search term leads many non-uberpeople to a thread here, I doubt there's any intervention from corporate.

Imagine if the Google search term was "uber pay" and the top result was a UberPeople thread calling out Uber for the shit pay. You bet it would be astroturfed.

<1%. I refuse to vote because the poll choices are unrealistic.
Going off on a tangent, it would be quite an interesting experiment if UP management were to pull the site's logs, and cross-reference users and their source IP addresses. That can point out the so-called sock puppets!

Tracking the source/ownership of those IP addresses might shed some light in their shillness.

True story!!

Waste of time.

Probably about 2-5%. A lot of it is just people who align themselves with the GOP free market anti-"Socialism" philosophy. They tend to repeat that the gig is "low skill" and that "you don't deserve a living wage doing this" and if you don't like it "get a real job", etc. or some variation of this.

But what %age of threads & posts are by them and the New Member shills that invade UP whenever U/L hit the news?
Also which pages do they work the most? The regulars like Uber Karen and MDP are busiest on the Advice page or any page they haven't been chased off. The "New" IDs are disposable and mostly die off quickly, like irritating gnats.

My guess is the percentage of shills is zero.

To believe otherwise, you'd have to believe that Uber cares what drivers think. I've only been driving a couple of years, but I haven't seen any indication of Uber caring yet.

I'd be surprised if they even had an intern assigned to read UP once a month or so.
