Yea really, the whole concept of plated vehicles was to limit the amount of vehicle for hires on city streets to reduce congestion.

So obviously some other companies are going to lose plates.

Once Waymo gets started, people seem to go out of their way to get one, even paying more money, just not to get stuck with a human driver.

So obviously ride data is being sent to the TLC because otherwise how can they decide from what companies they should pull plates from?

I'm telling you now, if Waymo gets going there it's the end for nearly all human drivers except for WAV vehicles just about.

People don't want to risk mixing air space with others of a lower class than themselves so that's why they are picking robotaxis.

Yes unfortunately taxi and rideshare drivers are the absolute the bottom barrel type of people or else why would they be doing this sort of crappy work? 😛

I can guarantee humans are doomed as drivers in NYC and the TLC will do absolutely nothing about it.

Drivers will have to take action right now, to fight for their jobs and their investment before it's too late.

Everytime a Waymo drives down the street it should be permanently disabled. After losing several million dollars worth of vehicles and nobody being caught for it, Google will finally pull out. 😆

Concerning who the bottom of the barrel type of person is just look at who is a decent driver and who is a scumbag. This job isn't crappy unless you make it out to be. And those "upperclass" people the majority that don't tip anyway and are mostly snitches shouldn't be looking at uber drivers whose job is to take them safely to their destination as losers.

 

I still dont think it will be sucessful in nyc bc i takes a certain type skill to actually make a right or left turns with these pedestrians
