United States Based Support for Uber?

I've been driving for 6 months now, and still have no way of talking to anyone who works for Uber in the US. Even during emergency situations. I have found this extremely frustrating, and see this as being potentially dangerous. As the "off shore" support teams are little better than 5 year old children if you confront them with anything not already on their scripts.

Has anyone been able to contact an US based employee by phone, chat, text, and/or email?
