According to the draft of a new law currently being prepared by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development, apps such as Uber will be blocked for operating illegally

The Polish government has hastened work on the draft of a new traffic law act which is set to regulate the operations of service providers such as Uber. The document's authors propose the introduction of licenses for businesses acting as intermediaries in passenger transport, which includes forwarding orders through mobile applications. The intermediary will also be obligated to verify whether the drivers they work with have valid civil liability insurance policies "appropriate for the business activity they pursue", as well as personal accident insurance for the passenger. They will also obligated to run a registry of drivers and all orders, and keep it for a period of five years.
