It's getting creepy ...... Let's sing along, will you :smiles:

You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa Claus ... ooopss ... Uber is coming to town

He's making a list
And checking it twice
Gonna find out Who's naughty and nice
Uber is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping
He knows when you're awake
He knows if you've been bad or good
So be good for goodness sake!

O! You better watch out!
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Uber is coming to town

I'm sure they have had the data for a while. What they've done with it, who knows. The app collects a shiat ton of stuff.

I've wondered if they were already doing it. I would be curious to know how much data this will use as well.
They stopped providing the report on braking and accelerating, but they are probably still collecting the data. Did you see in the app now they want to know what you are doing when you aren't Ubering?

Last week my phone made an obnoxious noise while I was on a trip. I looked at it and it warned me that I was driving 83 MPH. I was going about 65 in a 60 MPH zone. The app isn't any better at tracking speed than it is at anything else. Just more Uber junk.
