Just updafed the app
Instead of per mile and per minute this line is replaced by: enter destination for fare estimate.

It's a bizarre move, but it might be geared to new or newer pax who have no idea what the local cab companies charge per mile, but know how much they pay in total to get to their recurring destination.

 

Press the vehicle button under the different classes of Uber on your rider app. It should then display rates.

Because they are continuously changing (IE: cutting!) the rates and someone got tired of changing it all the time?

You have to double tap the slider to see the rate.

 

On the iphone, it shows per mile and per minute.
