Uber & Lyft LISTEN UP - Make more money - Apply surge based on DESTINATION at events!

Hey Uber and Lyft, listen up! Here's something that'll make everyone more money! Apply surge pricing to any event (like MARCH MADNESS games, sporting events, concerts) that is the DESTINATION, not the pickup point. People that pay those ticket prices will gladly pay the surge to avoid driving there! Don't leave money on the table! ??

Any destination like Honda Center, Staples Center, any of the stadiums, etc., as a destination for a big event should have surge pricing. It will make Uber and Lyft more money, and make drivers more money (to cover the return trip, at least.)

Fellow drivers, please discuss. :smiles:

Bring on the pax inputting an address two miles away then downrating when driver refuses to change ala express poo
Good point. Should be easy to code it so that the changed destination picks up the surge anyways.

Oh, wait, we're talking about Uber and Lyft.:cautious:

They most definitely need to do this. Been saying it for a while. Hollywood bowl drop offs are an instant cancel for me with no primetime / surge.

No, I assume that they care about making money for themselves. This just happens to be a case where everyone can make money. (well, until they figure out a way to screw it up. :confusion: )
