Uber China and Didi Chuxing are unprofitable yet. So Uber and Didi decide to get into a union of what is effectively seen as Uber getting rid of its Chinese operations.
If the billion-people Chinese market are still losing money on ride-sharing what hope is there for Singapore?
And will the time comes when Uber offloads its Singaporean/Malaysian operations to Grab?
Americans simply don't understand China. From the top polical issues to simple thing like this so- called high tech car hiring service, this is the case. Why would they need Uber? Does Uber have anything else to offer besides their IPhone app which they think the Chinese cannot duplicate?
