    I HAVE ANOTHER ACCOUNT QUESTION

Sorry to hear about the confusion. I'll do my best to assist you.

Upon checking, it seems that we've reached out to our specialists regarding your account as it's currently registered in Abuja, Nigeria. We believe this is the reason why you're not able to go online but to make sure that it's not a misunderstanding on our part, kindly confirm the city in which you're supposed to be registered.

We appreciate your patience regarding this matter. We'll keep an eye out for your response.

so i guess some 1 hack my account and change the address to nigeria? but when i check my profile it shows that it as in texas? not sure what these uber people are doing

Well now it makes sense why you cannot log on and get pings in your own market, lol.

Very weird indeed. Reminds me of that Lyft scam where you'd get a cancelled ride, a subsequent call and guy pretending to be from Lyft asking to confirm your 4 digit code in your email. Then they could access your account and either drain your pay or reroute it to a new account. Pretty slick.

I dunno about your instance. The only thing I would highly suggest is to use a different and unique password for ALL your logins. Websites, apps, video games, etc. EVERYTHING. And keep track of them all with a password program and keep a few backups of this. The things I listed get hacked and email/pw combos are sold on the dark net and used to see if they can log into banks, ccs, apps, even video games for botting and items.

Lots of rotten Nigerians out there running scams to milk westerners of their money. Hope you get it sorted!

You got hacked. They changed your city to Nigeria and the bank account to theirs. Then they'll request a ride from a stolen rider account with you as the driver, then drive in circles for hours and cash out the fare.
Uber is the victim in this case as they will be out the money

I'm assuming that heading over to Abuja and driving there for a bit while Uber sorts this out is out of the question. You're already activated there and ready to go, it seems.

If that's a no go then hang tight and keep your eye on your inbox.
