Uber eats LOL

How many of you (if any) are going to do this?

here's how I imagine it going.

>Get ping
>accept
>drive 7 miles to restaurant at 4 cents per mile
>get to restaurant, give customer info, order # etc
>"yeah their food isn't done, you're going to have to wait"
>wait 25 minutes at 8 cents per minute
>drive food to customers place
>they're too drunk to know which apartment they're in
>spend 17 minutes trying to locate customer
>ZERO TIP
>uber takes $6.88
>you get $3.11

sound accurate?

Anyone thinking about doing this, would be way ahead by just driving for Dominos or whatever local pizza joint provides their own delivery. EATS is horrible.

Actually that's one of the better scenarios.

Some time ago, I was dispatched to an apartment building near Gateway Market. I drove up and there were three peeps sitting on the steps out front. I stopped in the street thinking this is my rider. I waited. Waited. They were chatting, on cells. So then I wondered, is there an entrance around back. I drove up the street and determined, no, no back entrance. As I was turning around, I got a call or message, can't remember.... where are you? So I drove back and alas, it was one of the peeps who was sitting on the front steps. Actually, she was a lard-a$$. She got in and guess where she wanted to go..... Wellman's just up the street.

No tip. Screwed on the fare. Lard-a$$ would have been better to walk. It was a gorgeous summer day.

I don't care what the experts say, this is a money loser.
