Its a valid protest against our low pay rates etc and treatment by UBER. Timed worldwide to coincide with the IPO. As its a way we can get UBERS attention its well timed and worth a go. UBER is a cruel company as you all know.

Loooolllll... Uber wont even feel you're om strike... Ants will clean up for you don't worry... Will be a usual day...
You clean up on a normal day? Don't say that, we will all rush over to Perth. lol x 99

Isn't good for other drivers if there is less drivers on?
Don't you think the tissue box Camry's will be out in full force on Wednesday....... even if the poor car normally gets a bit of a break on that day?
That being the case, if you are going to take a day off, why not make it Wednesday? Its not a strike, its a day off.

I take Sunday off generally... What i meant by normal day was that no one will feel the difference... Well apart the ones on strike... Lol

If you think Uber is evil, try Centrelink. Nothing like Working for the Dole at $1/day in a crappy factory shifting boxes.

We live a world where capital has more value than labour. Accordingly, when you strike, there will always be a willing unit of labour who will accept to do the job for less.

Uber's business model is very simple, and it does not rely on a coordinated labour force, just endless supply of cheap labour.

$5 minimum fares you serious. 25% commission are you serious. Guaranteed and pool fares, rating systems. If these guys are your friends I hate to see your enemies. Industrial action is a must and with this Global action its a must.
