This is why Uber needs to rethink its “no weapons” policy. A while back, a Walmart store was successfully sued when a customer left his legal concealed carry weapon in his vehicle because that Walmart had a “no firearms” sign in their entrance. Subsequently, the defenseless customer was then robbed and beaten in the parking lot, and a jury found Walmart liable. In my state, most businesses avoid liability by making no policy whatsoever regarding licensed concealed carry. Any liability falls upon the licensed holder.
I woulda drove right through them.
Should have used that drivers Panic button, oh wait...lol
Walmart was found liable because the guy couldn't bring his gun in the store or was Walmart liable because they weren't maintaining the parking area so that it was safe?
