How was a felon on bail allowed to leave the country on a plane?

"Court records indicate he had 24 hours to surrender his passport to Quincy District Court after posting bail."

Apparently, you can turn in your passport after posting bail (until now). I imagine it would take more than 24 hours for Mass to process the paperwork and notify Immigration and then Immigration to update their computers.
As a result of the defendents actions, Massachusettes courts now require passports to be turned in with the bail.

The defendent claims it was consensual and volunteered for DNA testing.
He was arraigned on Friday but posted bail then flew out Saturday or Sunday.
The court did not act until the passport failed to be turned in.

Not to make light of the situation, but Emily looks like she could play weak side linebacker for the Patriots.

“I don’t feel that I’ll ever have justice for what’s happened to me. But I hope this shines a light and it won’t happen in the future because of me coming forward and me releasing my name and putting a face behind this whole situation,” she added.

Don't worry Emily, that $3 million judgement you get from Uber will give you more justice then Amfo being locked up for 10 years.

Guess I'm just unlucky. I've been detained and metal detected at Logan airport 3 times, kicked out of a terminal once.
I used to stay tan all summer. When it crop my hair and allow my semitic Gene's to reach their full tan I looked Arab as frack so they'd detain me and run the metal detector. Even with my M******* Waltham accent. Guess I lost the game not being a protected immigrant lol.

Anyone wanna explain why, if this story were actually true, she couldn't use her very own hands to unlock the doors herself and walk out of the car ?

    When did it happen ?

Why would a judge let a suspected rapist out on just $10,000 bail ?

Why is Uber just now deactivating him?

Why does the alleged woman look like a dude with a female wig on ?

    Another fake story.

Rape is a horrible crime. If some1 raped any of the women in my life; I'd gladly shoot them & sleep even better at night than I currently do.

that said; who rapes a linebacker in a wig? She looks like she can fight dude to the death GoT style.

Another note; check out her facebook. Holy fooking ****.
what the **** is going on in that liberal hellhole that's Mass...

BUT, what if some 1 accused a man in your life (father, brother, etc) of a crime they did not commit. Would you also sleep well shooting her?

So ... all a relative has to do is point a finger and say "He raped me" and you're picking up a gun and goin a huntin' - right?
Kind of like a semi-trained pit bull?
No consideration that maybe, just maybe, she's lying?

So why did the cops think there was enough to arrest the guy?

It doesn't matter what the cops think.
It matters what they think the news media will report, and if the extremist women's rights nags will paint up signs and march.
It has nothing to do with justice.

In the USA arrest does not equal guilt.
Jumping bail and running ... well, that's a pretty good indicator.

People regularly let their friends/family drive under their account. It is the reason Uber asks us for a photo ID mid shift, or starting. Usually happens when I'm screaming down the freeway and turn the app on and it says it wants to verify ID.
