I just received an invite about Uber delivery in Las Vegas. Anybody know anything about it? What it pays?

Looks like we will be delivering foods too. With some casinos charging for parking, are we getting reimbursed for it?
X rates? No thanx, I just wanted the insulated bag.

Just like Uber Ice Cream... UberX rates
Looked up costs of UberRush in other cities. Looks like Uber charges around $6.50 within 1 mile of pick up and then $1.80/mile after that.

Big problem in Vegas would be that there is no time element. If those are the rates they offer the drivers (minus their 25% or whatever) and you get stuck in traffic (very likely) your screwed.

I got the invite. Not sure if I want to agree to the terms. It's 22 pages long and I'm sure theres something about agreeing to sell you body or soul or both. Seems tho, you're required to do both delivery and ride share on the same app. Does anyone know if we agree, we're stuck having to accept both? Can we opt out anytime and just do the ride share?

From reading about it in other cities, looks like you can go to the office and opt back out of it if it's not for you. I read thru the terms (quickly) and it looks like all the Uber standard stuff. You have to opt out of the arbitration within 30 days or your stuck. They have the right to basicly change the rate of pay at any time (just like they can do with regular Uber) ect. The only thing I did not see is the actual rates of pay. I assume those will be released once they go live.

If minimum wage is ok for you, then yes! Drivers area making so little and staying offline so much that Uber is texting out guarantees to try to get them back.

After giving a thought, i decided to sign up. At this stage, nothing to worry about. Doesn't hurt to sign up, you can always request to be opted out if you think it's not for you. Not to mention we don't even know what's the rates going to be yet.

I signed up. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If it keeps me away from the casinos, so much the better. I delivered pizza for years on the strip, so if need be I can make Uber Eats work there too. I did read through the contract. It was reasonable.
