Uber Culture .... typical of any American compay

The approach at any American multinational company is almost identical and one can see it quite clearly in the case of UBER.

1. First they give you a lollipop to lick >> worker works hard for that lollipop
2. then they slowly withdraw that lollipop >> worker works harder to get that lollipop
3. Worker realizes he ain't gonna get the lollipop ever >> he slows down
4. Company thrusts the given lollipop up the workers arse, hoping he will work harder >> worker slows down further
5. Company withdraws that same lollipop and offers it to fresh new recruits.

Moral of the story
So just remember, the lollipop you were licking, was earlier sitting in someone's arse :p:p:p:p:p

I worked in the American corporate culture for over 15 years.

  • The winner takes it all
  • He who has the most toys wins
  • We do it because we can
these spring to mind defining the corporate culture

The "tall poppy" sysndrome that exists in Australia is just the opposite.

In the US People are admired for "making it" and "achieving the All American Dream" nobody cares how you made the money, or how many people you screwed-over making it. Remeber the movie "Wall Street".... Greed is good !

The big US companies that existed in Australia decades ago were taking their profits offshore then to minimise their Company Taxes. It only came to light here when the general public became aware.
