Received this text this morning which is not true whatsoever from Uber
UBER: We have received feedback from a rider that you have accepted cash on a recent trip when you were not supposed to. Accepting cash when you are not supposed to is a breach of your Services Agreement with Uber. If you think a fare adjustment is needed, please email us. Thank you!
Let them know that you didn't. Lunatics are employed in the London office so there's a big chance that they send it by mistake. Ask for details and proof of this accusation so you can recall the customer. Also if they can't provide any details of such case fire back with lack of proffessionalism from department that send such email. It causes stress to partners so you demand apology from the team leader or supervisor. If you treat your work seriously then don't be scared of accusing them for lack of competency if the details of taking cash cant be shown to you. Even demand a phone call so you can eat the caller over the phone. obviously they will tell you that 'this is what they had heard' from a pax. but they should listen to both sides if this is serious investigation. dont take a monkey, fire back if you feel innocent.
Just email them this back-
I have received feedback from a rider that Uber as a company operating in the UK do not pay the correct amount of tax and are in breach of UK laws. If you think a tax adjustment is needed, please email me.
I am willing to accept payment on behalf of HMRC and will be forwarded on in due course.
So that makes it morally right then?
Next time you need the nhs police fire and yer grandkids get Sh:t education, & you get crap state pension. You can sit in front of TV watching "gone with the wind." Wondering " What went wrong!"
3 exclamation marks! ? lol and you say i'm angry ?
In fact, judging by the total exclamation marks in your comments, it looks like you seriously need anger management therapy. lol
