Uber and Lyft are not accepting new drivers in NYC

Wow! They need to do this here. Amazon Flex does it (holds off on new drivers if supply gets too high). The IDG have any hand in this? It’s a shame we don’t have anything like the IDG here. Anyone stepping up either doesn’t get the industry, doesn’t have practical solutions, or has ulterior motives. From what I can tell the IDG is VERY effective.

Friend from NYC just sent this, just now. Finally, based on his feedback, Lyft introduced something clearer and better for him

Taxi union in NYC still has some political pull not sure there’s enough in Seattle to have the same change.
