Perpetually high numbers of Third World immigrant replacement drivers are the fuel that keeps uber's exploitation machine running here in the US and probably Australia as well.

They also keep the exploitation machines running for Doordash and the rest of the "gig" driving companies.

Over here the first targets of the union actions will probably be Qantas who have a partnership with Uber or the airports themselves who profit from Uber.
Forget Uber driver strikes the TWU can effectively shut down Australia transportation
