(3) Since 2008, congestion in Canberra has increased by 6%.

(4) Spread across 230 working days, congestion in Canberra represents 80 hours extra on the roads each year.

(5) Wednesday mornings were the worst time to commute to work in Canberra, with travel times increasing by 38%.

(6) The worst roads for congestion in Canberra were (in order from the worst): (a) Horse Park Drive and Majura Road near the Goorooyaroo Nature Reserve; (b) Northbourne Avenue and Vernon Circle; (c) Northbourne Avenue and Antill and Mouat Streets; (d) Barton Highway; and (e) Drakeford Drive and Isabella Drive.
