If he was such a level headed kid, why didn't he give up his blanket?
He finally had to part with the blanket his freshman year in college. His dorm mates heckled him mercilessly.

It wasn't exactly gingery peachy for me either. You wouldn't believe the humiliation he put me thru at school with that blanket of his. And his belief in the great pumpkin on Christmas! GRRRRR.
I'm sorry I have to correct you on this, but I believe he thought the great pumpkin would appear on Halloween night.

When he was younger it was halloween. Then when he went to highschool he was convinced Santa was really the great pumpkin.
