It's my second day driving for uber, but i've been lurking on this forum for the past couple of weeks. Just want to thank all of you guys for the advice you have given. If it weren't for you all I would be picking up non surge PAX instead of skipping and trying to drive surge up. Only doing this part time, but I want to be good at playing the game.

Sadly, my only game plan right now is to deadmile to DTLA from Buena. I tried the beach cities, but only got short rides. Today I went into DTLA and got my first 2.0. Anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks =D

Drive early mornings if you can, 4AM-10AM morning weekdays and 4PM-7PM nights. Weekends 12AM-10AM (saturday mainly) and 4PM-7PM, 10PM-12PM. The thing with early mornings is, it's longer rides and no traffic. Could get a few surges also.
