So is ridesharing ever leaving Vegas?

What do you guys think is uber/lyft are here for good or is there a chance they might have to wrap up? The way things are going this is getting tough on drivers (transportation industry of Vegas/Limo/shuttle/taxi and doormen's)? Every one of these employees seems real mad at uber/lyft.

Funny that the doorman are upset when MGM just took a ton of money from the valet guys. I'm sure the valet sector is down about $1000/week due to this pay for parking scheme

Let them be mad. Ride share is not going anywhere. The best thing about it is the doormen are finally getting screwed. They are the most corrupt people in Vegas. Love seeing them suffer.

That's why the Aria doorman was an @@@@@@@ to me yesterday.
They were that way even before paid parking/ valet, this mostly affects the valet guys. I used to pay $20 at Belaggio when I valet so my car would be up front and I didn't have to wait for pick up, those days are gone at MGM properties when you have to pay $18 upfront anyways.

The head valet at Encore makes $300 to $500 a night to allow the SUV limos to wait in the Uber/Lyft pickup area. And the limo supervisor is a ass to the XL drivers with the higher end SUVs that park next to the limos when the clubs let out. That limo supervisor seems to be feeling the heat. He has been yelling at me since last October! My friend at Encore says they are always telling the limos to back off the rideshare drivers at Encore.

I don't like any of them, counting their money in front of everyone, they don't do crap, they open the door for people staying at the place that is giving them a Job and still want money, is ok when they load luggage but not all the time, I got into an argument with a least two of them, they got their money and still wanted me to help them load, thanks for messing with them.

I love it! They all do count thier money out in the open. My friend at Encore says it can be hard at time when it is busy. But he does admit it is a hustle to get more money nightly. At least when he's working and up front he allows me to pick my pax up at the door. I text him if I have a ping and give him the name of the pax and he puts them to the side for me! If it was like that at all of the casinos!

Limo supervisors? They're called starters. Not supervisors.

Mandatory long coat and stupid hat for all in limo business. Apparently the stupider the better.
Well I say the XL SUVs take them by storm. I wish that Uber offered SUV in Las Vegas. It would definitely make me drive more. The crossovers and vans have flooded the XL market. Thou when I do get big groups that easily fit tip nicely for the bigger vechicle!
