Select ONLY now flashing as uberx also?? And vice versa..

K what is going on? When I go online as select only (which I started doing a little less than a year ago after making peanuts on x with a car that is not exactly fuel efficient) , I notice on the rider app that uberx cars will flash up as select too then disappear if you move the pin one address over and then show again and only sometimes the ETA will change. Same for select only. It will show cars as select only flashing over to uberx and back etc... This has been happening for a few weeks now and I'm not sure if it's a glitch that just I have been experiencing or if anyone else has noticed this? Also my ride requests have been very far and few between since this has been going on. Driving me crazy! Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. :] thanks so much!

I think this is the same thing the XL drivers were noticing yesterday. Their XL only accts were showing they were driving on X too. I do Select only and I noticed (maybe paid more attention) yesterday than normal and my vehicle àppeared to be reflecting x as well. I as well thought it was ridiculously slow. Only 1 request last night

Oh! Wait sorry, I don't go online as X anymore cause it wasn't profitable for me personally. I know select is fewer pings as x but I have been doing this since last September and it's never been this bad or for that matter, having the rider app act in such a peculiar way either. I'm thinking it's ubers glitch? My husband gets the same thin on his rider app too....

No pings at all? Or no Uber X pings? Did you read the XL thread created yesterday, for the exact thing? It's very interesting. Question, do you have the Destination Filter on your app? Interestingly it seems those who have it, are making money, and they're setting their dest to DIA, HR, etc and getting hits right away. Us that don't have that feature, for whatever reason, aren't getting any requests. I only had 1 request yesterday. 3 all week!!

Sorry I meant, were you getting x requests even though your acct is set up not to due to us reflectinging on the pass app as an X vehicle. When I first noticed that, I was afraid I'd start getting x requests but instead I'm getting nothing!!:mad:

Oh my god! That has to be it! I have not had the update yet for the destination filter. I have a Samsung Note 5 and this has been acting like this since about 10-12 days ago when I got and uber partner update which changed up the online /offline button but did not add the destination filter. And no, I never use the X/select platform anymore, only select and didn't see the the other thread about XL yet (but plan on reading it now). But I have had no rides this week yet and last week was 4. Do you know when android users will get that? This sucks!

Same here. I have never been pinged yet for X but it definitely keeps showing that I'm on as x and select. This is crazy stupid that they have not fixed this for us. Losing out on my 5+ airport rides I get a week. So sad.

And sure as anything, I probably wouldn't get far with the denver uber office since they have never been able to help me on tech issues before. Not sure what to do. I do keep checking in on updates for the partner app but so far nothing yet.....

Yeah I'm pissed! You force us to update but by doing so, half of us can't work?? Total bullshit! I'm guessing their office is going to be busy today!

Its not only Android. It seems to be completely random on who has it! Do u have the clipboard?
No clipboard at all. I hear it's supposed to be in the upper left corner? The update 2 weeks ago only gave me the online slide bar function. Seems ridiculous to me. Wish uber could have worked this out by now. This is hurting my pocketbook for sure

Yeah this is full time for me right now and I've been out for 5 weeks due to a car accident and of course rent is due next week. So I have the slide button and clipboard but no Dest filter. However my clipboard is only there once I accept a request. Is it suppose to be there all the time?

I think everyone having this problem should head down to the office and show a large presence of pissed off people getting screwed over with this new update and maybe just maybe they will make some calls? Nah, doubt it...

From what I've read it is suppose to be but I'm not 100% sure on that. I wonder if we uninstall and install again if it might fix anything.

Well there was one city where they gave bonuses to drivers when their system crashed. It was based on your avg rides per week and they seem to wanting to portray themselves as driver friendly to the media. Hell if they don't do something, I'll drive straight over to 9news investigates! Don't play with my $$
