Which obviously none of us would do because it's against policy.
I wonder, does that apply to Passengers as well?

For example, I pick up a rider going to a firing range. His guns are in a locked container and we place them in the trunk. I personally would not have issue with that.

But does Uber allow it? Do I have to tell the passenger that while I fully support the Second Amendment, would love to join him on the range, I have to decline the ride due to Uber's policy.

I would assume locked firearms in a case, in the trunk are OK.

I will tell you I had a pax once in Inglewood approach the car with a gun sticking out of his pants. I drove off. He grabbed his gun, waved it in the air shouting "HEY!!! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!?!?! F***"

I have no idea how this applies to the pax. That'd be an interesting conversation with CSR.

I had a guy who told me he was armed. Former Marine. Not sure why he told me but we discussed CCW costs as a result of his disclosure.

Bottom line, if you're open carrying, I'm not letting you in. If you're a responsible gun owner and your weapon is secured in a case, and you are willing to put it in the trunk, Uber On.

Similar thing happened to me a long time ago. I was leaving Hollywood Park and heading east on 90th and I made a left to go up to Manchester. I get to Manchester and there's a car in front of me at the stop sign and I'm second and I see in my side mirror a guy crouched down coming around the back of my truck with a gun in his hand. At the same time the car in front of me pulls away from the stop sign and I didn't bother stopping at it.

Yea, for a while there was a rash of "ambush attacks" at Hollywood Park Casino. Quite a few people lost their winnings this way.
