Savior Gojek Drivers Chat

Singapore might be the toughest market in the world for PH business. Uber thought it could just transplant its Ang Mo business model to Singapore and kill taxis by simply throwing money but lost big throughout. The most fatal mistake it made was being greedy to enter the mass market (from being just doing Executive) .That was a death sentence it gave itself. Its last struggle with an alliance with CDG was too late to change its fate of death because the execution room was already ready and waiting for it to be escorted in.

I will explain my points tomorrow.

Give UBER the benefit of doubt.

It has brought so many happiness in PH drivers.
Some uncle that in their 70's always envy UBER realistically.
They have a time to pass while earning some income on their retirement age.

Go jek have big backing, if they are willing to pay incentives like uber/grab early years, can will all. Last time those $30+ per hour guarantee and many incentives, sure many will drive for them. Go jek can just analyse the other monster grab drivers thread here and solve whatever grab drivers are unhappy. Maybe is good that go jek have a delay before coming in, built up frustration to make drivers and passengers choose go jek easier, passengers angry with grab rewards changes https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/grab-postpones-changes-rewards-after-customer-complaints-10556062

Singapore market is nothing to Go-Jek and is already saturated. For a market that has stopped growing, it is not worth coming here to burn money. Easier for them to beat Grab in Indonesia.

Also, assuming that Grab and Go-Jek have communications in Indonesia, everything can be negotiated.

The survey missed out nationalism which is a factor not to be forgotten. At present no one has played it up against Grab but this doesn't mean that forever it won't be.

Only the first 3000 qualified drivers who registered will get the early bird welcum incentive according to the ambassador.
