Thanks for your reply,I am hoping to get more responses before I decide to Drive in Santa Maria.Have a question for you,did you Drive in Santa Maria,if you did how many pick ups did you get and at what time of day.I do believe you about shoddy Characters but that's basically most of SM,as long as they match up with their credit card and ID your better off.I delived for Dominos Pzizza for 20 years and was Robbed, beaten up held hostage but that all happened when I was outside of car.If I don't feel right about a person once I get to pick them up,can I refuse .There are also certain areas in Santa Maria I wont go after Dark.I may lose fares but that's fine.Santa Barbara is just too far away for me to work.I would consider SLO,5 cities befor SB

Slo is good at night from 8 to 3 p.m during the day you will be taking cal poly kids around for 3 dollar trips all day long. I wouldn't put a extra 50 miles on my car daily just to get to a driving area. If you get a call there it's worth staying since it is busier than SM but definitely not worth adding 12000 annual dead miles on your car. The reason I suggested SB is for the additional miles it's actually busy enough to justify and I get many trips back to SM every week. SM passengers won't rob you I was more implying that not many are personable and not many are tourist most are workers always running late and never having a good day. Chumash casino is always calling too. I've gone in and gambled and got long ones every hour or so

Are Chumash runs good,do you get paid more.Do you just sit and wait for a call. All I am looking to make is between 400 to 600 a month. Are there tips.I plan on working with the other company too. Also are the Map directions on the app reliable, does it tell you how to get to destination. To start I will only be doing day runs.By the way I like your honesty, thats what I need.Could you give me a typical day in Santa Maria, what do you make on a slow day/busy day.I am not trying to be nosy just in the process of getting a car to drive and need to know if its feasible.

Santa Maria is about a call every hour on weekdays about 7 dollar average drive. If I were you I would work part time and ride share when it's busy. At best case scenario 40 hours online during day in Santa Maria would net you 400 a week. That's net. Driving to slo is ridiculous. You might make 50 dollars more over 8 hours there but you going to add 12000 annual miles to your car just getting there. My car is worth 1500 dollars I get 44 miles a gallon I still wouldn't do that. You really are moving to a uber dead spot and your only way to make 600 plus weekly is UC Santa barbara.

I told you how bad ride share was in Santa Maria yet you posted you are still content on driving there. So my question was asking for a update detailed if you will of how it was.

After driving in Santa Maria and surrounding areas for about 3 weeks, I agree. Santa Maria is terrible, after the mid state fair is over I will drive down to Santa Barbara and try that out.

So how the fair go? I heard the first Saturday was great and the other 11 days were over saturated. 20 or 22 a hour before expenses
