Here is some intel from social media down under
“Everyone told me the same story that they were offline but when they saw the riders app they find heaps of driver so why should they go offline when everyone was working. No one was motivated”

If people say no one new that is definitely not true in Melbourne

“Literally so many drivers saìd this to me.... everyone was aware of the strike because of the flyers at airport”

I was there all week got hundreds of thumbs up ? from drivers.
They decided not to strike that $50-100 was more important than sending a message to Uber. This is why the rich get richer and poor get poorer.

People are short sighted. Not driving yesterday was an investment in your future, but apparently, people can't see beyond right now.
