Prius z-z-z-z-z-z-z-zzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZ Sound When AC/Heat Is Running

Has anyone else experienced this sound before?
I must admit, I neglected my air cabin filter for a few months. When I pulled it out to replace it, there was pretty much an entire tree in there haha.
I'm thinking there is a stem, leaf, gas receipt or thistle that is barely touching the squirrel cage while the air is blowing.
On the lowest speed it's a tink a tink a tink sound.
On the highest speed it's a ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ like sound.
Hopefully it isn't a mouse skeleton :smiles:

Could this be rectified with a blast from an air compressor?
Could my thoughts be completely wrong and perhaps the blower is on it's way out?

Thoughts?
Ants?

This happened to me, and when I pulled the whole glove box out and the filter, and went digging around back up in there with a flashlight. It seems an empty plastic candy bag.....

....... from my over filled glove compartment, had got back up in there and was wrapped up in the blow motor. I pulled it out, and all was fine after.

Sort of the same thing. Little piece of paper in my case. Just enough to make a constant whirring noise.

Yeah I toss gas receipts in my glove box. That was my first thought.

That area is so tight that I can't fit my 6'4 man hands in there.

I think @Lissetti would be overqualified for that type of "film"

Its true I have small hands and arms, so I was able to reach my whole hand back in there up to my bicep, but you can get a Bore flashlight and a reaching tool, otherwise its off to the shop for you, where they have to charge you for taking half your dash apart to inspect your entire air system.

Oh hell no!
I'm going to purchase the flashlight and then find an appropriately sized fwb from my local pub

"Hey, before I drive you home, could you do me a quick favor?"
Do this quickly or just don't operate the AC motor. I have a bad habit of overstuffing my glove compartment. I did it in my Prius C2, and I did it in my Corolla. In the case of the Corolla it was a box of plastic drinking straws that got up ended and some of the straws got sucked into the motor. (I carry a box of plastic drinking straws in my glove box because the city of Seattle has switched over to paper straws everywhere.)

Anyways...The straws wrapped around my bearings which caused them to weaken. The motor lasted another month after I pulled them out, but was always a bit on the louder side. (LOL my pax having conversations like they were at the train station.) Anyways...The motor decided to finally go out on a 89 degree Saturday afternoon. Hell no I was losing a weekend! Eh.....I'll never be a Super Ant.

I remember these!! 2/$1.

I had cookies this morning. Might have took half the carton but this is a couple of hours after they were left sitting so open season.

My fav is the haribo, Walgreens sometimes have 2 for $3. Slightly more expensive but 🀀🀀🀀

I thought it was about a Prius designed for ZZ Top:

They come runnin' just as fast as they can
'cause every girl crazy 'bout a
fuel efficient vehicle that
You know, sure it's small in some ways
but really it works
But damn it's quiet
but wow look at that room in the trunk
I cant believe we fit all of our luggage in there
sharp dressed man

I think that's how the lyrics go right?

You ruined the motor because you don't like paper straws?
