Needs uber help

I recently had a mishap with my uber account where I somehow had to log in with my Facebook account and not my current email account. The next day I asked uber support to delete the Facebook associated account because I didn't want Facebook to have access to my debit card. Miscommunication; they deleted my whole account. While Trying to revive it with a new email- when I enter my payment information (which has money/is usable) a box pops up that says "unacceptable payment method". I think it recognizes it attached to my old account but this is the only card I have. How can I fix this ?
