Picture of my face on the car

Wtf, seriously why does uber demand that the profile picture that the pax first see need to be what i look like ?
I understand the safety issue but its impractical. When searching for a faceless name amongst a crowd figuring out who it is that requested a ride, my profile picture isnt making the flagging down more efficient.
Pax had a hard enough time knowing i arrived when my picture was of my car.
Sooo fkcin stupid..

I got deactivated when I first started driving because I replaced my picture with my car. Didn't know it wasn't allowed, had to find out the hard way. Thought I was doing my pax a favor since the car is the first thing they see. I mean they have the tag and my full name, just made sense to me.

Papa Sarducci i hear ya, thst was my view on it aswell. Untill today ive had a pic of my car since in aug 2015.
The fact my car isnt what uber pax to see makes me realize the shear utter pointlessness of what i use for a profile pic.
Looks like ima try and upload a picture of gumby. Hehe

I think they have an automated system that compares your license photo to your profile photo and flags it if they don't match.
