Pickup Trucks?

If it was a 4 door crew cab with 5 seats, I don't know why they would deny it. Some of those are amazing inside. Like a high end SUV.

Not exactly the most profitable vehicle though.

Besides, arent a lot of big SUVs just a Truck with an affixed cab on the back lol.

Uber website says no full size vans or trucks...are pickup trucks not trucks?

Keyword here might be fullsize. Ram 1500s and Ford F150s aren't much bigger than most SUVs and are probably a bit smaller than Excursions or Suburbans.

If you wanted to do Uber in say an F350, they would probably tell you no.

Very bad idea.my fuel expenses about 30% of earnings if i did uberX only . Few XLs balance it down to 20% . with trucks will much worse with 5.5L engines.

Good point, WAly, and I wouldn't do it except that I am not in it to make a bunch of money, just as a hobby. Being retired I have that luxury. I think I will be very useful in a bad wintery day when others, without four-wheel-drive, cannot get out.

I wouldn't depreciate my beautiful truck with uber. My strategy to get a SUV for 10K make 15K per year for 3 years then toss it.

It does say no full size vans or trucks in the "acceptable vehicle" section but it could be a grandfathered thing because I have a full sized, crew cab Ram 1500 (with 5 seatbelts) and they haven't fired me yet.
