J----- texted me about 1 minute after I arrived with the above.
I think I was pretty clear with how much time she had.
She didn't make it.
I think she should have perhaps said "Hello! Be out in 5 minutes."
This still wouldn't have gotten her a ride.
If you cannot make it out of your house in 5 minutes, then why are you ordering a ride?

Also: The Smiley Emoji buys you exactly ZERO extra minutes.

The funny thing is that I've driven J----- at least 3 or 4 times before, she's always made it out of the house with only seconds remaining on the count down clock. I guess she pushed things a little too far tonight.

Something smells a little jaded around here...

How about it was a wink emoji instead of smiley?

How can lyft passengers text you? I only receive calls. Do you have hearing impaired set?
LYFT PAX can always text. It is in the passenger app ONLY, 'Contact Your Driver' after a ride has been requested, and you have the option of either phone or text.
As a driver, I cannot text back unless they have texted me.

You can text the pax
Send text to the "pax Lyft number" and pax will get it

You order me on your rider app

You can watch my car icon move towards you on the map contained in said app

You have a countdown timer to my arrival ETA in the app

Why can't you be ready ? We're usually less than 10 minutes away.

$5.00 (of which I receive $4.00) isn't enough for you being an idiot. And don't say well it's because I was used to taxi's taking an hour plus to show up, if at all........
