No more Prime Time but are Pax still paying it?

I know there is no more Prime Time for drivers with Lyft but what about the pax? Are they still paying it or are they being charged some other way when demand is high? I've been checking my ride receipts and there's no correlation to what pax are paying and what drivers are receiving on any consistent basis.

Lyft still charges primetime to the pax just as before-- instead of raising prices to bring out more drivers-- they just keep it for themselves.

Some, but not many, drivers switch to uber during high demand. The majority of them though are still picking up pax for base rates.

Have you seen this on a ride receipt of what the pax pays? I picked up 4 girls in old town club area at 2am. Should def be prime time. The demand map was dark orange. Regular rates for me and pax didn't pay anything extra either.

Why would there be? Current TOS for both Uber and Lyft drivers allows them to charge pax whatever they want to, while paying us flat per mile and minute rates.

A Scottsdale Uber pax paid 14.04 while I got 4.60. It's the current state of affairs in ride share.

Uber, Lyft have tighten the belt but only for the drivers, Lyft is the worst but and Uber just sucks less, just stop driving, you're not missing much this summer, or just take profitable rides, get hurt big time this summer or get hurt with lower and lower rates for years to come🤷‍♂️ or until autonomous takes over. Leave the truly generous people to share their resources and subsidize a 50 billion company and the the 72+ million dollars mansions Companies executives are buying:

In this article typical socialists complaining how they are entitled to someone else's money and for good measure they even interviewed a Marxist professor.
Like universities don't rip people of with worthless degrees and college debt.

Yes. No prime time for Lyft. Lyft, however, is offering me the weekly bonus every week. 120 rides with Lyft? No thanks.

I add in Lyft begrudgingly during the Summer months during daylight hours when it is not surging. Come September and after dark in general, they stay off.

I have some secrets to maintaining $1K a week in the Summer, but I am not going to share them.
