New Uber eats driver in south florida (Not Miami), I'm mostly in the fort lauderdale plantation area. Any tips on areas to get more than 1 ride and hour?
Many drivers on here will give general advice, but I think you'll find many don't like sharing their fishing holes. Check out your local forum and you might find some tips, there's also the Ubereats sub forum.
Florida is flooded over with ants (derogatory term for idiot uber drivers). Combined with low rates (up to 40% less than top cities) your looking at an abysmal failure if your planning/needing to make min wage.
It simply may not be possible to get more than 1 job an hour on uber. The money just plan sucks. Some drivers in some parts of florida often report getting less than 1 per hour, and that's with driving eats or customers.
I sincerely hope you didn't quit a good job to uber.. i'm really praying that's the case
