Lyft are uber under a different name. The business model of ultra cheap rides and paying the driver peanuts just doesn't work in London. To live and work in London a driver has to earn a decent wage. For a driver to earn a decent wage the company must charge a normal ph fare to the public. The only reason uber got big is because they are ultra cheap. Even the financial times said uber cannot sustain the business model. It was and is a get rich quick scheme for Travis and co. They will milk it and take their millions and run when the time is right.Lyft will just pop over without spending all the money on court cases Uber have.
In a way Uber is paving the way for a new company to takeover
