The Mayor was with other three guys and one of the guy ordered Uber. I immediately recognized him. It was a very short trip.

The Mayor didn’t order Uber but his buddy ordered and he didn’t tip.

Why are you still working Ho-broken and the other loser Gold Coast towns? The entitled class, the net, net bargain hunters who believe that the rideshare driver is their indentured servant and birthright, are wealthy but NEVER tip, are a net loss in my thousands-of-rides experience. These rides tend to be minimum with little or no surge, in an urban setting where you have to stop at every corner. Mostly, the to-and-from takes more time than the paid part of the ride. Drive the Gold Coast towns and clear very little. And this has been greatly exasererbated by all the new water main breaks and detours. Turn off the app and go back to EWR. JUST sayin’

You’re right. Every time I swipe and see Hoboken as the drop off point, I cry “nooooo!” as Luke when he realizes that his father is still alive.

I work it. Banged out good surge rides today. You need to know your market & think 3 rides ahead.Took Jersey City to Morristown on 2.2x
Going to clear around $900 for the weekend.
At Metlife waiting for a 4x long haul.

I like Hoboken better than Jersey City or union City to drive in but the roads are worse than in Brooklyn over there, and really easy to get pulled into NYC from that whole area.

I hate Hoboken and only use my destination filter to either go south/west or into NYC when I want to get paid to go to NYC. Never taken a trip recently without the DF on.
If I get a long trip going south I will go through Staten Island and get two $20 tolls without the passenger being charged more

Did he ask for a Slurpee?!

I tried UBER in NYC...
OH NO! This dominican idiot gave me a ONE STAR, because I didn’t agree with him. UBER sending me Sh*t like:
“CONVERSATIONS YATTA-YATTA... OUR TOP EARNERS KEEP IT DISCREET SINCE SOME RIDERS LIKE THE SILENCE.” And badgering about “acceptance rates”?! Pray you’re caught poking that phone accepting requests, by either Midtown NYPD or TLC.
