Lyft: $30/hr, 50 mins driver mode per hour, weekly acceptance rate 90%, 1 trip in zone per hour or 2 trips outside zone. Tips extra.

Uber: $30/hr, 50 mins driver mode, 90% accept rate DURING guarantee hours, 1 trip in zone per hour (outside zone no dice)

I know its easter weekend so may be slower but damn $30 gross for Fri/Sat night thats $24 net. I can easily do that on one app alone. Lyft has been pretty high for Guarantees recently but I guess too many drivers = less primetine so most won't hit $40-50 gross but 30 is not an incentive.

the UP.Net/Forums from
76°F, with rain expected tonight, Marco
Island, on Florida's Wild SSW Coast.

In Hawaii, the Answer would be,
"Chance'um!" which in Haole would
equate w/ "Go for it!". GREAT...but
which one ?

Suggestions!
A) This is where your interactions with
Other Boston Drivers via Profile Post
and "Convo Function" can make a BIG
Difference.
B) Find out if any of the "Peer to Peer"
Communications Channels are Available.
Most Popular are Zello's "Push-2-Talk"
Networks AND "What's APP?" a Text-based
Tool. BOTH require finding out from
those CURRENTLY using those Formats
in Boston. Look through the Archived
Boston Threads with a Search-4-Zello,
for Starters.

Looks like $24/hr net is not enough to bring out everyone and their cousin to drive like last few weeks. Some solid primetime/surge tonight on both Uber and Lyft; 300% PT at one time never saw that in Boston before but they did only just recently raise the PT cap.

Meaning I drove around for 20+ mins looking for a ride in areas that I know less drivers drive in but have bars / restaurants where staff closing up would need a ride. Normally no more than 5 min wait for me to get a ride on Lyft or 10-15 mins max if dead time (late weeknight or early morning before 630am or middle of weekday).

I wonder how many new lyft drivers came online in last month? Its getting increasingly difficult to get rides during guarantee hours and almost zero primetime even on weekend nights. Never used to be like this even during guarantee hours for morning rush and weekends. And still had decent primetime. Smh.
