During New Years I received a ride request as I was downtown to pick up a rider in I think it was east of El Dorado Hills. Showed 24 minutes at 18 miles away. Obviously I didn’t take it. Since I have gotten like 4 requests of 7 or more miles away. I never take them. What’s your distance caps??
It depends on where I’m working. If I’m in Sacramento long-distance is not worth it. I’m working in Lake Tahoe that’s a different story. Also if I’m in the foothills like grass Valley or Placerville long-distance is kind of part of the deal of working those areas
Call me a greedy ant but I did some night driving in the Yolo County backroads this weekend. Was dropping off at UC Davis off Hutchinson, got a request for the town of Yolo (up I-5 past Woodland) 15 miles away for a trip to Esparto in the west Yolo boonies.
The longest request I've received was 45 mins away. I declined.
