Who else prefers to drive at night? What are your reasons?

Pros:
1. Less cars on the road, so it's less overwhelming.
2. If I happen to get a destination to any of the 5 boroughs of NY, I'd much rather drive there at night. NY traffic is more tolerable at night for me. Less pedestrians too.
3. Driving until sunrise can be a beautiful and peaceful experience.
4. Freaks come out at night (can be entertaining, fun to talk to, if they make a mess it's like you get a bonus for the clean up fee if the clean up is easy)
5. I get to show off my Uber/Lyft LED light since it stands out better at night

Cons:
1. ALWAYS someone with highbeams or their regular headlights are as bright as highbeams. Mirror flipping is your best friend if they're behind you.
2. Freaks come out at night (drunk pax can be rude or dangerous, more likely to have a vomiting pax, sexy time in the backseat which may be awkward to some drivers, drunk/angry drivers on the road) Surprisingly and usually it's not that bad for me. I've only had to clean up vomit once so far.
3. It may take longer to find a 24 hr gas station depending where you are
4. Depending on where you are, it may take a little longer to get pings. You may be a bit impatient at first if you're used to working in the daytime. Helps to have Uber & Lyft on and overtime you'll learn what areas to hang around.

Yessss . . .
" I Love the Night"-B.O.C.
YES I love that song! Also yes it is cooler.

I mostly drive at night because I have a full time job during the day and at night that’s when my daughters are sleeping.
I’ll catch up on sleep when I retire.

Wow you got 500 of those?! I only have one. I feel like pax forget they can hit those buttons.

They say I have 3k late night trips but it's been stuck there for a while. Much more money to be made late night. less traffic and more demands, wheels turn faster making more cabbage.
3K wow...reminds me that I’m still a noob. I haven’t even made it to 1K with drives alone on either app hehe

$16.00 bucks a month !
I pay by the year.
They " claim" they dont do that.

Young company.
You can cut a deal . . .

Same with tv.
Use Dish network, threaten them with cable. Have Everything. $60.00 a month less.
They always find a way . . .

They gave me a deal for switching from old car of 50 bucks the whole year from May 2017 until May "18".......been charging my card 16 bucks a month for subscription since then.

This job can get interesting after 10:00 pm. Id say 90% of my dashcam archives are between 10:00 pm and 1:00 am.

Pros:
Interesting pax
Valet attendants are more chill
Less chance of a beach pickup

Cons:
Sprinklers in the resort corridors
Costco gas is closed
More pax want to make drive thru stops.

Do this: call Sirius and tell them you don’t want it any more, it’s too expensive.

They’ll cut the price. Pay for a year at once.

This works when you’re signing on to a gym, too.
After you say expensive - tell them your friend got it for less than $60 for the year... they'll find the deal he got

Yep I’m definitely a night driver 99% of the time. I love it.

No traffic. Less chance of accidents. Less gas usage. Less competition from other drivers so I’m always busy.

I also do it because my kids are sleeping and I don’t have to worry too much about them.

I also like that there’s almost 0% chance of getting a grocery store pickup or an uppity witch yelling at me because she’s late for work. People are more ‘relaxed’ at night.

With the good comes the bad of an occasional belligerent drunk or vomit fee.
