Jersey City and Uber

Well is seems the Mayor of JC is a possible candidate for Governor (no big surprise there if you keep track of ur Jersey politics)

He seems to not want to take sides. On one side he could anger the Taxi union and on the other he core voters, the Uber lovers...this is partly why I want to organize. We have members of like 500, that's 500 votes he can't afford to mess with. Goes for a bunch of other guys running in the state...and after Christie rein.. the 2017 race is gonna be much looked at

And then the ending of the article is just comical...the guys who complained to the paper ends up disappearing and becomes an Uber driver!! Haha!

Love the article.
Believe it or not, there are 2 factors here.

1) Easy internet application as Uber
2) East access to electronic money.

Those taxi companies are dinosaurs waiting for their fire stones to hit them.
