Irma Evacuees at Norfolk

Driver from out of town visiting Norfolk (thanks, Irma). Question about drivers with access to the Navy base. In Florida it's almost zero, but it seems Virginia has more. Is there a process for drivers who have access or are there just that many sailors driving Uber on the side?

Not sure exactly what you are asking. You can go by the pass office and for a $150 get a pass access pass. If you have a military ID card you can access the base. Uber has a setting (at least in Hampton Roads) where you can indicate that you have base access. May result in you being give a fare on base even if you are not the "closest" driver, because you can get to the rider instead of them having to walk out to the gate.
