:( iphone charger problems

I do like to create a pleasant ride for my pax, and it's really awesome when I can help someone whose iphone is failing. Unfortunately, the charging cable uber provided two months ago has stopped working. It seems to be dirty. Some research uncovered this (it claims that this always happens when you leave an iphone charger in a car...):

Anyone else have this problem? What do you do about it?

Tell the cheap pax you dont have a charger. Do the same with the aux chord.

Why pay $10 for a cord for other people when that $10 can stay in my pockets...

I always tell them that they are welcome to use my USB if they have their own cable
It's not for them... I need to keep my phone charged lol

Don't expect uber to give you another one. I was at falchi greenlight. Asked for a new cable. They said cables are for brand new drivers only

Uber gave you a cable !?!?
FAVORITISM !
it was a year before I got an Uber sticker !
Had to go get it.
By the time I got it I didn't want it on my car anymore !
It hides in shame in the glove box.

I let someone use my apple charger and somehow the cord was long enough to touch the mat. Guess what, snow salt and some other green shit, get stuck on the connector. It came out the charger doesn't work anymore.
