The little Japanese girl. The 50 year old business man. Obviously the dude-bros. My car reeks. It doesn't offend me. I actually support the legalization. My first job random tests, though, so I don't partake. I had a four pack get in my car, and I had to ask who had the ounce of pot on them. Tonight I had to stop and get out to look in the back seat to see if the young guy I had dropped off left a big ass baggie of it behind. I remember when I was in my twenties we tried to be inconspicuous about it, but nowadays they are so cavalier about it. Do you have similar experiences?

You're not alone. American Government teacher Mr. Hand of Ridgemont High School said back in 1982 that "he's convinced everyone's on dope". "Am I going to pass your class Mr. Hand? Gee Mr. Spicoli I don't know."

I get it all the time. I'm not offended by it but I'm always on edge with them because you don't know if he's going to start hallucinating or something.
They'll only hallucinate if the weed is laced with peyote. The more common trait with stoners is that when you ask them where do they want to go their reply will be something to the affect of "I don't know, I forgot".

You mean Iike the guy with the huge back pack who claims he's going look at a woman's house in the hood for 5 minutes ,and insists I wait running the meter ?

Or the couple with backpacks who claim to have dropped a ring on the floor and I can hear pill bottles rattling from back pack to back pack below view in the back seat ?

No.

Never.

Or mushrooms or formaldehyde " clickums,"or digoxin,or herbs from synthetic weed,or liquid blotter acid,or . . . .if you pick them up in the country near a known mushroom field, then they may hallucinate.

Tell them you can save them from the alien warlords if they surrender all their money . . .( it's amazing what they may believe)

The damn kids are all snorting and smoking heroine nowadays.

The sell Narcan /Naloxone at Walgreen's with no prescription nowadays.

It stops death from overdose ( sometimes).

Thought about picking some up.
Damn kids in my neighborhood are all doing it.

Narcan can save a life.

They may be out of it at the hospital.

Better than a stiff in the backseat and police paperwork.
( I would carry 4-5 pks. If I ever get around to picking it up.not uncommon for more than 1 to have trouble at the same time.would hate to revive one and watch the other die)

I get it all the time. It's very annoying to be kept waiting for a passenger, only to have them finally get in and realize that I've been waiting so they could finish blazing. Then I take them on their short ride and have to air the car out before I can take another ride. I'd rather have a screaming kid, honestly.

I was going to carry Narcan, but it's a very high risk thing to do. The local pharmacy will only get it in if asked, and won't keep it in the store if you don't pick it up when you promised to. It's THAT HIGH RISK. They are worried addicts will break into the store to get it. They fully understand how dangerous heroin is and keep using it anyway. If pax find out you have it in the car, you're at risk for a mugging.

For those that don't know, Narcan doesn't neutralize opioids, it temporarily blocks receptors. If you decide to carry Narcan and have to use it on someone (remember it can take 2-5 minutes to kick in, and may require breathing assistance during that activation time) your first action should be calling for a rescue. Inform 911 you have Narcan available and let them decide whether to administer. Cover your legal butt!

Also, when the Narcan wears off (half-life is 4 hours) they can easily go back into overdose, so if someone is to the point of needing Narcan, they need to be taken to an ER for evaluation.

Yeah you don't want to give anyone Narcan. We don't have the credentials to diagnose an opiate OD, it could be some other problem and what we give him could make it worse.

story 1- I pick up a guy visiting from Chicago. He's an executive with Holland America cruise lines. I have a nice normal conversation with him before I drop him off at the pot shop.

story 2- I pick up a guy from Microsoft campus. He is going to his daughters recital, but first a visit to the pot shop. We talk about daddy duties along the way.

point is, it's perfectly normal once it gets legalized, and stoners will never throw up in the car. At worst they want to hit the Taco Bell drive thru.

The police went on T.V. locally, urging people to get it.

Only time anyone would know about it,is if it had to be used.

Agreed in Colorado it feels normal as well, kind of like people who drink and those who do not drink. It is a personal choice and very few judge you for it, so those that do smoke do not hide it really and those that do not smoke don't even respond to it anymore. There are a few of the stereotype stoner or hippie bums running around, but for the most part the average people I take to pot shops are normal average type people, and i have seen some Uber SUVs in parking lots of dispensaries as well.

What's this thread about again? I forgot. Hold on a second, I got to finish rolling this blunt.

Yea it's pretty much decriminalized other than significant dealings and it's use in drug screening.

I've heard stories (read; not self incriminating) of passengers talking openly with their Uber drivers about picking up a bag, and then supposedly even breaking off their driver a small chunk.

Although I find it outrageous and would never partake in such actions, still funny and a sign of how things have evolved.

I got so high the other night, I stared at my own schlong for 45 minutes  !

Then I grabbed it like it was a microphone and sang 80's power ballads.
Mostly Night Ranger... I was totally rockin' out ! High as hell !

Almost positive the schlong was mine.....I don't remember anyone else there.

edit...
oh man, I hope it was mine...:frown: This could be bad. Does anybody here know the lyrics
to Sister Christian really well, but for some reason you don't remember why ?
Please check back with me. Now I'm worried.
